  • Direct Cremation: This is a cremation with no service. This package includes transportation of your loved one to us, climate-controlled housing before cremation, the cremation itself, and returning the cremains to the family in a temporary container. Woodward also files all relevant permits and the death certificate.

  • Private Family Visitation: The family has a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones at our facility before the cremation. The same features associated with direct cremation are included, here, with the additional private family viewing at a scheduled time.

  • Celebration of Life: Friends and family gather for a ceremony to celebrate the life of their loved one. The location is left up to the family, and there are options for any combination of an urn, cremains, or a photo to feature in the service. This ceremony is provided in addition to standard direct cremation services.

  • Memorial Service: At a scheduled time, Woodward Cremation & Funeral Services hosts a service in honor of the life and times of your loved one. The memorial service could be located in one of our chapels, a place of worship, outdoors, or a location of the family’s choosing. This is provided in addition to standard direct cremation services, as outlined above.

  • Traditional Cremation: A rental casket visitation followed by a service and then by a cremation. Services take place either at our facility or a church with an officiant, This is an opportunity for family, friends, and the public to say goodbye to a loved one. Cremation services are included as well.

  • Anatomical Body Donation: In partnership with local universities, Woodward Cremation & Funeral Services allows families the option to donate their loved ones’ bodies to science. 

A Few More Things To Consider

Deaths don’t usually take our schedule or physical location into account. If your loved one passes away and you live out of state, Woodward Cremation and Funeral services Daytona Beach can help with coordinating getting your loved one back to you, as well.

 

  • Shipping out of state: The cremation takes place at Woodward’s facility, and afterward, the cremains are shipped out of state according to your needs.
  • Virtual memorial service: If some family members live in town and others are out of state, Woodward Cremation & Funeral Services can help with coordinating a virtual service to allow all family members to participate.
