LEOF "IRENE" ZIMMERMAN | Visit Guest Book Funeral service for Leof "Irene" Zimmerman, 73, Daytona Beach, who passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at Shady Rest Cemetery. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Williamsburg, Kansas and moved to this area 24 years ago from El Dorado, Kansas. She volunteered as a pink lady at Halifax Health Medical Center for many years and was a member of New Life Church, Daytona Beach. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Gary; two daughters, Blinda Hull and Dianna Posh; a son, Steven Thomas; two brothers, Cecil Cook and Ralph Finch; two sisters, Betty May and Wilma Bartlett; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In lieu of other remembrances the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center, 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange, FL 32129.
